State of Alabama v. Casey Murphy

State of Alabama v. Casey Murphy – Not Guilty Verdict for the felony charge of Murder on April 5, 2023, in Montgomery County, Alabama.

NOT GUILTY. Casey Murphy was charged with the murder of Mr. Demarcus Jones back in 2018. On May 4th, 2018, a group of friends were at a party in Gibbs Village when shots rang out. Mr. Jones, unfortunately, was shot and killed in the crossfire. Mr. Murphy was charged with his murder and later plead not guilty to all charges.

After a three day long trial, a Montgomery jury came back NOT GUILTY on three pending criminal charges. After four long years, Mr. Murphy goes home.
