After a week-long trial, an Autauga County jury found Tony Harwell NOT GUILTY of felony murder in the 2022 death of 9-month by-old Ryder Hall.
On February 10, 2025, the jury began hearing testimony in this tragic case. Prosecutors claimed that Ryder suffered severe injuries at the hands of Mr. Harwell. However, Richard White and Alex Sallas, representing Harwell, presented evidence showing that the injuries were consistent with a fall from his crib—not abuse.
After just two and a half hours of deliberation, the jury returned with a NOT GUILTY verdict.
A huge thank you to our dedicated team—Amber Vance, Dakota Rivers, and Addison Brutkiewicz—for their hard work and commitment. Tony Harwell walks away a free man.
Congratulations to Richard White on securing his 10th NOT GUILTY verdict in the past 3 years!
